SERVICE OPTIONS

Our qualified and experienced mechanics have a wealth of experience in servicing and performing routine maintenance to all makes & models of vehicle. We use quality replacement filters, oil & parts at all times, so you can be assured that your car will get the attention and level of care it needs.

We offer 3 different levels of service to choose from;

1) a basic service simply entails changing the vehicle's oil & filter. This will help improve engine efficiency and performance.

2) an interim service includes an oil & filter change, replacement air filter, as well as inspecting the car's brakes and suspension, and checking its levels. This service goes a little deeper and includes an assessment of some vital vehicle components.

3) a full service includes an in-depth health-check of the car's condition, as well as changing oil & filter, air filter, fuel filter (where applicable), pollen filter (where applicable) and again checking and maintaining all levels. This will help identify any potential safety issues, as well as ensuring the car is running and performing as well as it should be.

We also carry out manufacturer warranty servicing; so even if your car is still within its' warranty, we can carry out the service on the vehicle WITHOUT invalidating it. The use of genuine parts from the relevant dealer enables us to meet the vehicle's service requirements, perform the service and necessary inspections, and subsequently stamp your service record accordingly.

MOT PREPARATION

We also specialise in pre-MOT inspections and repair work. We have a modern state-ot-the-art rolling-road MOT lane, which enables us to assess your vehicles' brakes, handbrake and shock absorbers electronically. This provides a detailed assessment of these components' condition and helps us establish if they are working effectively and to the required tolerances to ensure they pass MOT.

In addition to visual inspection of the vehicle, we also check its' headlight alignment.

We will never go ahead with any required work until we have spoken to you and you have given us permission to do so.

BRAKES, STEERING & SUSPENSION

If you are suddenly aware of a strange noise when driving such as grinding, clunking or knocking; there's a fair chance something has gone wrong! But don't panic, just give us a call and we can arrange a suitable time with you for us to diagnose the problem............. FOR FREE!!

In most cases, the solution is generally straight forward and once diagnosed, we can quote for any repair work there and then!

clutches & gearboxes

Whether your clutch is 'slipping' or if you're hearing a 'crunch' and having difficulty when trying to change gear, we can diagnose the issue and advise you on what to do next.

We understand how reliant we all are on our cars, and so will do all we can to get the issue resolved in a timely manner.

TIMING BELTS

A timing belt is a crucial component of any engine as it enables both upper and lower sections of the engine to run together smoothly.

It is very important that the belt is maintained and replaced in line with the manufacturer's guidelines, as neglect may result in the belt snapping, resulting in major engine failure.

The replacement interval depends on the vehicle, but we can check it for you at any stage, and recommend replacement where necessary
